Poland pursues Ziobro via extradition after EU arrest warrant route fails
Poland has shifted its strategy for pursuing former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, turning to extradition procedures after complications arose with the European Arrest Warrant (EAW) route. The change in approach follows legal obstacles encountered in executing the EAW. Ziobro remains abroad and has so far avoided facing charges in Poland.
