EU court upholds €4.3bn fine against Google for Android antitrust abuse

The Court of Justice of the EU on Thursday rejected Google's appeal against a record antitrust fine imposed eight years ago by EU competition authorities. Google was penalised for using the Android mobile operating system to block rivals. The fine of €4.3 billion is one of the largest antitrust penalties ever imposed in the EU.
