Czarnek to table fuel tax-cut bill after CPN programme ended, prices rose

PiS prime ministerial candidate Przemysław Czarnek announced plans to table a bill cutting VAT and excise duty on fuel to restore prices that applied under the government's CPN programme, which expired days ago. Czarnek accused the government of burdening Poles heading on summer holidays with higher fuel costs. The CPN scheme had kept prices artificially low.
