Wastewater to cool power plants instead of river water in Poland

Polish power plants are set to start using treated wastewater for cooling their installations, reducing the amount of water drawn from rivers. The solution is intended to ease pressure on river ecosystems, especially during droughts and heatwaves. It is a response to growing water availability challenges in the energy sector.
