Microsoft reportedly planning to keep physical game discs as Sony exits the format

Just one day after Sony announced it will stop producing physical PlayStation game discs by 2028, industry insiders say Microsoft is planning to continue releasing games on physical media. The Redmond company has reportedly found a way to maintain boxed game distribution for Xbox consoles. Microsoft has not yet officially confirmed the details of its strategy.
