Quantum Systems raises $1.2 bn, valuation doubles to $8 billion

German drone startup Quantum Systems has raised $1.2 billion in a new funding round, more than doubling its valuation to approximately $8 billion post-money. The deal is the latest sign of strong investor appetite for defence-related companies. The firm specialises in unmanned aerial systems.
