Polish banks shun direct start-up funding, turn to partnership programmes

Despite holding large capital reserves, Polish banks provide almost no direct funding to start-ups, keeping such investment at a marginal level. Instead, financial institutions are increasingly engaging with innovation through partnership programmes and specialised financial instruments.
