Most Ukrainians Unaware of Volhynia Massacre; See UPA as Their Home Army

According to experts interviewed by Gazeta.pl, most Ukrainians have never heard of the Volhynia massacre and view the UPA similarly to how Poles view the Home Army (AK) — as a national liberation force. The historical dispute with Poland is not a priority for Ukrainians, who are focused on the ongoing war with Russia. Despite the tensions, Ukrainians retain strong sympathy towards Poland.
