Chief Oscars Officer steps down as ceremony moves to YouTube in 2029

Teni Melidonian, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Chief Oscars Officer, is stepping down and will continue as a consultant for the next year, AMPAS CEO Bill Kramer announced in an email to staff. Melidonian served as the lead liaison between the Academy and Disney/ABC. The change coincides with awards production moving under Jennifer Davidson and the announcement that the Oscars ceremony will move to YouTube from 2029.
