LINK spacecraft to boost NASA's Swift Observatory orbit and prevent re-entry
A robotic spacecraft called LINK, built by Katalyst Space, is set to launch no earlier than July 2 from Kwajalein Atoll aboard a Northrop Grumman Pegasus XL rocket. Its mission is to rendezvous with NASA's Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory and gradually raise its orbit over several months, preventing it from re-entering Earth's atmosphere later this year. It is the first mission of its kind for on-orbit servicing.
