Original Supergirl Helen Slater Backs Milly Alcock After Box Office Disappointment

Helen Slater, who played Supergirl in the original 1984 film at age 18, has publicly supported Milly Alcock following the new Supergirl film's box office setback. Slater declared "we want reinterpretations" and defended creative reimaginings of the character. She herself recently reprised the role in a de-aged version in 2023's The Flash.
