Czech Government Blocks Far-Right Bid to Strip Zelensky of Top State Honour

Following Polish President Karol Nawrocki's decision to strip Volodymyr Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle, the Czech far-right party SPD demanded Zelensky be stripped of the Order of the White Lion. The office of Czech President Petr Pavel swiftly shut down the idea, stating that the constitution does not grant the president such powers.
