Poland's fuel price support scheme ends; minister says inflation beat forecasts
Poland's government fuel price support scheme "Ceny Paliwa Niżej" expired on Wednesday, ending a period of subsidised prices at petrol stations. Energy Minister Miłosz Motyka told TVN24's "Kropka nad i" programme that the scheme kept inflation below economists' projections. Fuel prices at petrol stations are now expected to rise following the programme's end.
