Tauron drains Pilchowice reservoir during repairs — all fish die

During renovation works on the Pilchowice reservoir managed by energy company Tauron, all fish and other aquatic organisms in the reservoir died after the water was drained. Tauron insists the works proceeded according to plan — which critics argue is precisely the problem, as the welfare of the animals apparently was not part of the plan.
