Magnificent 7 stocks shed ~$2 trillion in June, turning negative for 2026

The seven biggest US tech stocks — Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Apple, Meta, Tesla and Amazon — shed roughly $2 trillion in combined market capitalisation during June 2026. The losses pushed the entire "Magnificent 7" group into negative territory for the year to date. June's declines were steep enough to erase all gains recorded earlier in 2026.
