Urus Performante SE makes 801 hp, up from 789 hp for the regular plug-in hybrid SE.
PHEV system’s weight means same 3.3 second 0-62 time as old non-hybrid Performante.
Tighter air suspension, more aero kit and new Rally drive mode are part of the package.
The Urus Performante was the wild child of Lamborghini ‘s SUV range until it was dropped along with the Urus S after the entire model line went hybrid-only in 2024. Now the Performante is back with its own PHEV powertrain and even more attitude.

Power for the new Urus Performante SE comes from the same plug-in hybrid setup already found in the Urus SE, but Lamborghini has turned the wick up. The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 works together with an electric motor stashed inside the ZF eight-speed transmission to produce a combined 801 hp (812 PS) and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm), making this the most powerful factory-spec Urus ever built.

It sprints to 62 mph (100 kmh) in 3.3 seconds, which you might be disappointed to discover is exactly the same time achieved by the old non-hybrid Performante that had just 657 hp (666 PS) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) to its name. But it is at least a tenth ahead of the 789 hp (800 PS) Urus SE PHEV, and it reaches 124 mph (200 kmh) in 10.8 seconds, or 0.4 seconds sooner than the SE. Both top out at 194 mph (312 km/h), whereas the old Performante was only good for 190 mph (306 kmh).
An extra 12 horses was hardly going to make the Perfomante feel night and day different to the SE, so engineers trimmed 32 kg (70 lbs) through wider use of carbon fiber across the body, a lighter titanium exhaust, revised braking hardware, and lighter interior materials.
That still leaves the scales showing 5,452 lbs (2,473 kg), or 323 kg (712 lbs) more than the old Performante, but the better news is a claimed weight-to-power ratio of 6.8 lbs per hp (3 kg per PS). The hybrid battery that’s responsible for much of the added mass gives a claimed 37 miles (60 km) of WLTP electric driving when you want to keep things quiet.
Wider Track, Less Roll
The chassis also got its fair share of attention. A new AURA dual-chamber air suspension replaces the previous setup and promises a much broader spread between comfort and outright performance. Lamborghini says body roll is reduced by 55 percent during spirited driving while comfort-related vibrations drop by 25 percent compared with the previous Urus Performante. The track has also been widened by 16 mm (0.63 inches) to improve stability and steering precision.

New carbon fiber bodywork includes a redesigned hood with S duct air channels, larger cooling openings, a taller rear spoiler, and the biggest diffuser ever fitted to an Urus . Lamborghini says drag falls by 3 percent while downforce rises by 23 percent compared with the Urus SE.
Inside, the cabin gets a stronger motorsport flavor with more exposed carbon fiber, a redesigned 12.3-inch infotainment display, fresh graphics, aviation-inspired controls, and Lamborghini’s familiar Feel Like a Pilot theme. Buyers also get a new Rally mode alongside Strada, Sport, Corsa, and EV, though its natural home is still the smoothly paved catwalks of Dubai, Monaco, and Miami.
Lamborghini hasn’t locked in a price or an on-sale date for the US yet, but expect the Urus Performante SE to reach dealers near the start of 2027 with a sticker somewhere close to $300,000.
