KNDS sells CAESAR Mark I howitzers to Malaysia, ending nearly 30-year artillery deadlock

Defence company KNDS signed a contract at the Eurosatory 2026 trade fair to supply CAESAR Mark I self-propelled howitzers to Malaysia. The deal ends a nearly 30-year artillery procurement deadlock in the country, which had initially favoured the Slovak EVA M2 system. It represents a significant export win for the European defence industry.
