Archaeologists unearthed an ancient stela in the Mexican state of Veracruz that may depict people receiving a so-called "divine liquid" in a ritual ceremony. The monolith was found alongside a large decorated platform and remnants of offerings. The discovery offers new insight into the religious practices of ancient Mesoamerican cultures.
