Canada to join Eurovision from 2027 as first new participant since Australia in 2015

Canada will join the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027, becoming the first new participant since Australia entered in 2015. Participation is open to all members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which Canada joined last week, rather than being limited to geographically European countries.
