Gen. Syrski: Active vehicle protection needed to break Ukraine's drone stalemate
Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Gen. Oleksandr Syrski says drones have sidelined tanks and pushed the war into a positional stalemate. He is calling for investment in active protection systems for armoured vehicles to enable a return to manoeuvre warfare in formations. Without such systems, Ukraine risks remaining stuck in an attritional drone war with limited battlefield gains.
