PlayStation to stop selling games on physical discs in 2028
Sony has announced that PlayStation will stop releasing games on physical discs from 2028. Games will still be sold in shops, but only as boxes containing a digital download code rather than a disc. The move marks another step towards the full digitalisation of the console gaming market.
