DeFi exploit inflated tokenized Google stock 78x, leaving $403,000 in bad debt

An attacker manipulated the price of a tokenized Google share used as collateral in a DeFi lending protocol, inflating it to roughly 78 times its real market value. They then borrowed against the artificially inflated collateral, leaving approximately $403,000 in unrecoverable bad debt in the protocol. It is a rare example of an exploit targeting tokenized real-world assets within decentralised finance.
