Fish Tins Go in the Yellow Bin — Even If They're Greasy
Tins from tuna, sardines or mackerel should go in the yellow bin for metals and plastics, even when greasy sauce remains inside. Simply emptying the tin of leftovers is sufficient before sorting it with other metal packaging. The presence of oil or sauce does not disqualify the tin from recycling.
