EU "Made in Europe" Rules Threaten to Shut UK Carmakers Out of Their Biggest Export Market
The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) has urged Brussels to grant the UK, Turkey and Morocco targeted exemptions from new "Made in Europe" rules. The regulations will require cars and parts to be manufactured within the EU to qualify for subsidies or public procurement contracts.
