Sony to close PS3 and PS Vita digital stores from 2026

Sony has announced the closure of the PS3 and PS Vita digital storefronts after 20 years of support. Stores in Mexico, Honduras and Nicaragua will shut first in August 2026, followed by Latin America and Middle Eastern countries later in 2026. The US and UK storefronts are scheduled to close in July 2027.
