NLRB dismisses 35% of union charges and 67% of worker complaints under Trump

A new analysis finds the National Labor Relations Board dismissed 34.7% of unfair labor practice charges filed by unions between January 2025 and April 29, 2026 — a 14.2% rise from 2024. Workers fared even worse, with 67.4% of their charges dismissed, up 10.7% year-on-year. Analysts point to staff shortages, procedural changes and the absence of a board quorum as key factors driving the surge.
