EU farm aid: Poland gets €66m — more than Germany — from €540m package
The European Commission has approved a €540 million aid package for EU farmers hit by high fertiliser prices. Poland will receive €66 million, the second-largest allocation after France's €107 million. Germany gets less than Poland at €60 million, with Spain receiving €50 million and Italy €45 million.
