Poland's fuel price cap programme cost 4.7 billion zloty, kept inflation at 2.5%
Poland's Finance Ministry announced that the total cost of the Ceny Paliwa Niżej (CPN) fuel price reduction package amounted to 4.7 billion zloty. The programme involved cuts to VAT and excise duty on fuels as well as price caps. The ministry said it helped keep inflation at a controlled 2.5% and reduced the cost of living for households and businesses.
