UOKiK: guests can demand a price reduction if hotel AC doesn't work
Poland's consumer protection office UOKiK responded to a case involving YouTuber Książulo, who requested a hotel refund after air conditioning in his room failed to work. The office reminded consumers that they are entitled to file a complaint, demand a price reduction or withdraw from the contract in such situations. UOKiK advised guests to document the fault — for example by filming it — and report it immediately at the front desk.
