Poland had 38.8 million residents at end of 2025, including 2.3 million foreigners
According to experimental data from Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS), approximately 38.8 million people lived in Poland at the end of 2025 — nearly 40,000 more than a year earlier. Of that total, around 2.3 million were foreign nationals, an increase of almost 215,000 year-on-year. The figures highlight the growing role of immigration in sustaining Poland's population.
