Aave logs biggest single-day wallet growth in nearly 5 years, token up 20%

DeFi lending protocol Aave added 1,806 new wallets in a single day, its highest single-day figure since October 2021, according to analytics firm Santiment. The AAVE token has surged roughly 20% over the past week even as the broader crypto market has been sliding. Analysts say the data signals a renewed interest in decentralised finance.
