Poland Is the Only EU Country Where Crypto Firms Cannot Get a MiCA Licence

Polish President Karol Nawrocki has refused to sign a law that would give the country's financial regulator authority to approve crypto firms under the EU's MiCA framework. As a result, Poland is the only EU member state where crypto companies cannot obtain a MiCA licence domestically. Founders are now forced to seek regulatory approval in other EU countries to operate legally.
