TV mogul Taylor Sheridan spoke about the backlash he almost baited for Landman and admitted that it didn't come as a surprise. Starring Billy Bob Thornton , Landman took longer than expected to win over the audience, but it never struggled in terms of viewership. The series has been renewed for a third season, which Sheridan is working on along with several other projects.
