From July 1, Vans Over 2.5 Tonnes Need Smart Tachographs Like Trucks

EU regulations that took effect on July 1 require all light commercial vehicles weighing between 2.5 and 3.5 tonnes used in cross-border and cabotage transport to be fitted with smart tachographs. Previously this obligation applied only to heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. The new rules affect transport companies across the entire EU.
