DR Congo says Rwanda lacks will to honour 2025 US-brokered peace deal

DR Congo's government spokesperson and Communications Minister Patrick Muyaya told FRANCE 24 that Rwanda lacks the "political will to implement" the 2025 US-brokered peace deal between the two countries. He called for stronger international pressure on Kigali, stating: "The United States should use more tools on Rwanda — it's not enough yet." The conflict between DRC and Rwanda has persisted despite the agreement.
