6 Million Poles Suffer from Migraine Amid Lack of Treatment Centres
Up to 6 million Poles may suffer from migraines, yet the condition is routinely dismissed and Poland lacks dedicated treatment centres, warns neurologist Dr. Marta Waliszewska-Prosół, vice-president of the Polish Headache Society. Some patients consume as many as 700 tablets a month in an effort to manage the pain.
