Tatra chamois count underway — three poached animals found

A large-scale chamois census is under way in Tatra National Park, with rangers using a dedicated app to log the exact time and direction of each sighting, supported by radio communication. Forester Grzegorz Bryniarski from Morskie Oko is among those taking part and described the operation to the Polish Press Agency. Three chamois were found to have been killed by poachers during the count.
