Vietnamese Films Capture 70% of Domestic Box Office in First Half of 2026

Vietnamese films held a 70.6% share of the domestic box office in the first five months of 2026, up sharply from 62.2% for all of 2025 and 42.6% in 2023. The figures were announced by Galaxy Studio executive chair Dinh Thanh Huong at the inaugural DANAFF Industry Days in Danang, where she also called for greater international co-productions.
