KKR to take control of South Korea's $1.3bn renewables platform from SK

KKR will take control of a South Korean renewable energy platform valued at $1.3 billion, previously held by SK Group. The deal comes amid surging power demand from AI data centres in South Korea. It follows Seoul's announcement of three major investment projects spanning semiconductors, physical AI and AI data centres.
