Nearly half of Polish teachers in higher tax bracket, says minister Nowacka

Education Minister Barbara Nowacka stated that nearly half of Poland's teachers now earn enough to fall into the higher income tax bracket (above 120,000 złoty annually). She noted that teachers expect not only pay rises but also reforms to the tax system. Nowacka pledged to continue pushing for further salary increases for the profession.
