Xi Jinping calls for iron discipline in the Communist Party amid growing threats

Xi Jinping addressed the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party. He called on the party to maintain iron discipline and warned of "terrifying storms" amid growing challenges. The Chinese leader did not present any new proposals to address the country's slowing economy.
