Minister Żurek: witnesses in Polish courts will be allowed to sit while testifying

Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek has decided that witnesses, experts and parties to court proceedings in Poland will be allowed to testify while seated, ending the practice of standing for hours. The change aims to improve comfort, reduce stress and create better conditions for establishing the truth in courtrooms. The reform applies to all Polish courts.
