EU Ends Customs Exemption for Temu and AliExpress — €3 Fee Per Item From July 1

From 1 July 2025, EU customs exemptions for parcels from outside the bloc worth under €150 have expired, directly affecting platforms like Temu, Shein and AliExpress. A temporary duty of €3 per unique item per parcel now applies. The change is aimed at curbing the flood of cheap Chinese goods entering the European single market.
