EU imposes €3-per-item tariff on Temu, Shein and AliExpress parcels from 1 July

From 1 July 2025, the EU is scrapping its customs exemption for parcels from outside the bloc worth up to €150. A temporary tariff of €3 per item will be applied to each shipment. The measure targets the flood of cheap goods entering the single market, primarily from Chinese platforms such as Temu, Shein and AliExpress.
