Astronomers discover third galaxy apparently lacking dark matter
Astronomers using the W. M. Keck Observatory on Maunakea, Hawaii, have discovered the third known galaxy that apparently lacks dark matter. The object is part of a peculiar linear structure believed to have formed during a violent collision between galaxies. The find challenges existing models of galaxy formation.
