Ford axed its 3.0L Power Stroke Diesel F-150 after just four model years

Ford introduced the 3.0-litre Power Stroke diesel in the F-150 pickup in 2018 but dropped it after just four model years. Multiple compounding issues drove the decision to discontinue the engine. The unit failed to win over enough buyers in the highly competitive pickup truck market.
