Fuel Prices Rise From July 1 as Reduced VAT and Price Caps Expire

From July 1, 2025, Poland's reduced VAT rate on certain motor fuels and the maximum price caps at petrol stations — introduced as part of the CPN package — have expired. Tuesday was the last day the finance minister could have extended those reliefs. Shortly after midnight, the first photos showing higher prices at fuel stations began appearing online.
