UN rights chief Türk: We must not dehumanise migrants and refugees
Volker Türk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, argues in a France 24 interview that migration, climate change and the erosion of international law are deeply interconnected crises, not separate policy issues. He calls for a restoration of solidarity and legal responsibility, stressing that migrants and refugees must be seen as human beings rather than threats. Türk warns of a broader crisis of political accountability at the global level.
