Paraguay demands changes to Mercosur-EU trade deal at Asunción summit

At the 68th Mercosur summit in Asunción, Paraguayan President Santiago Peña criticised the terms of the trade deal between Mercosur and the European Union. He called the agreement unfair to South American countries and demanded its revision. The summit opened on Tuesday, bringing together leaders of the South American trade bloc.
