Ukraine buys 16 Gripen E fighters from Saab for $2.54 billion

Ukraine and Sweden have signed a contract for the purchase of 16 Saab Gripen E fighter jets. The deal is worth approximately 24.6 billion Swedish kronor (around $2.54 billion) and covers not only the aircraft but also spare parts, equipment, and technical and logistical support. It is one of the largest arms procurement deals in Ukraine's history.
